Several years ago, I met a new fashion designer and his manager when they were in Singapore for a fashion festival. Today, their brand is one of the most successful labels in Europe, worn by countless number of celebrities on the red carpet. Despite their huge success, we still keep in touch and they are still the same nice guys whom I have met back then. Hence, I am dedicating this blog entry to them and their uber amazing brand. (P.S. Amr and Drew, you guys rock. xx)
BODYAMR (pronounced as body armour) is a London-based label by Omani-born designer Amr. Launched in 2005, it has since gained a cult international following and counts Juliette Lewis, Claudia Schiffer, Beyonce, Cheryl Cole, and Kylie Minogue as fans. Here's Amr being featured in British Vogue.
It takes a certain type of women to wear BODYAMR. One has to be confident of her body to be able to show off Amr's fabulous creations of beautifully draped, silk-jersey dresses and jumpsuits which accentuate the contours of the body.
