Britto's Squeaki, Tiny Temptation And More...

I have several "pets" at home. You first saw "Robotcat" by Ando Hiro (blog entry "J-Pop Art I Love"). Now, meet the smaller cat "Squeaki" by Romero Britto. In fact, Squeaki came to the household before Robotcat.


I am now in the process of acquiring another pet. This time, a pet snake named "Tiny Temptation", also by Britto. Both the sculptures are numbered editions signed by the famous Brazilian artist.

What I love about Britto's works is the happiness they bring. Vibrant colours and cheerful images. It is impossible not to smile when looking at any of Britto's work.
